The GROPIUS Chair has been named “Best of the Best” in the Residential Seating category at the 2025 Best of Year Awards by Interior Design magazine.

We are very proud that the Gropius Chair, designed by Kateryna Sokolova, has won the Yellow Light Bulb for Interior Design Magazine's 2025 Best of Year Awards. It was honoured with the special “Best of the Best” award, celebrating iconic projects of the past two decades. This recognition is a powerful reminder that Ukrainian design speaks a universal language - one of ideas, precision, and endurance.

Launched to mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, the Gropius Chair embodies the core principles of the movement — clarity of form, structural honesty, and timeless logic. Composed of spheres and cylinders, it appears playful at first glance, while offering carefully considered ergonomics and comfort for long-term use.

Today, Gropius lives beyond the showroom — in public spaces, global brand boutiques, and exhibition venues worldwide, including Lacoste and Fendi. Discover all commercial and residential projects featuring the Gropius Chair.
